03:49 pm - sims 3 expansion! oh no
jowell just got mt eh sims 3 expansion which adds vacations! so i can travel all over the world... and do quests in each area... and if I do enough quests I can buy vacation homes... oh my..this is def going to kill my time... i want a vacation home everywhere! lol ohhh i didn't update on here but yes my couple had triplets.. TRIPLETS... i have the parents fertility pills cause i wanted twins... but I guess i gave them too much.. the babies just kept popping out! ... anyways.. triplets are stressful... yes.. even in the virtual world... even when you're filthy rich and have nothing else to do with your time... triplets... sigh.. haha anyways i sorta slowed down on my sims playing after i got the triplets cause sheesh why should i stress out over my virtual world... they moved into a beautiful water front beach house that came fully furnished.. and i bought them the nicest car they can own.. in red... hahaha ok so ya with the expansion i guess i'll go back to playing it again.. ALOT..
last weekend...
fri - watched tv? i'm not sure what i did.. surviver this season is gettng reallly good.. haha russel is amazing!
sat - played wow... went to costco.. ordered my contact lens... and bought lotsa food with jowell, ate dinner at claim jumpers.. and GUESS what!? jowell ordered the meatball CALZONE... i had TOTALLY forgotten the experience you girls had with the calzone there.... anyways... it took the kitchen forever to cook the calzone... FOREVEr.. we were sitting there waiting for soooo long... they came out and told us calzone takes a long time.. and i was like "yah! that's right! tsan/vava's calzone came out raw last time!" at least this time it was cooked.. but man it took forever hahaha stupid calzones...
sun - played wow? hmmm i don't feel like i did play lotsa wow on sunday.. OHH i had to work on my project for my class... i guess i played wow after that~
mon - work...class... zzzz..
short week this week! yay!!!! only 10 more hours of work to go! then 4 day weekend :) happy happy ~ my bro and dad are going to texas for thanxgiving though.. and jowells parents are working on thanksgiving... maybe we'll just go to todai... since it's jowells bday too.. todai's open on thanksgiving and they have turkey.. lol
i'm excited to see everyone over the xmas holiday! but... i am trying to go somewhere for vacation during the week of dec 27-jan 3 (since work gave me the whole week off i wanna take advantage of it and travel) ... but i'm still in the midst of looking for plane tickets and hotels etc... i have no idea where to go.. everywhere is so expensive during that time.. but i'm trying.. haha well if i do find somewhere to go lets party lots before i fly out...

i'm so glad everyone is coming back for the holidays!!! it'll be so fun! yay!
last week.. jowell got his new xbox game "modern warfare 2" , so he forced me to start playing sims 3... uhggg i was like noooo cause i wasted so much of my life on sims 2... haha anyways he was like " you can make xiang qin and zhi shu" i was like oh... so i was like ok maybe i'll just see if i can make characters that look like them... it took me 2-3 hours just to make them.. UHGGG i stayed up late that weeknight! and they don't really look like them at all it's pretty sad.. but while you play the game it's a faraway view anyways so its ok. it's funny i gave xiang qin the traits of "hopelessly romantic, clumsy... i'm can't remember off the top of my head but you get the gist" and i gave zhi shu "genius, perfectionist, loner, ambitious etc." ... so its actually really fun for me to play their lives cause they actually realllly act like them in the movie.. HAHAHA i made them both go towards the medical profession.. zhi shu since he's smart and ambitious he got promoted sooo much quicker then xiang qin, xiang qin was always like 3 promotions behind. anyways ya thats what i've been doing O_O
tues - jowell got his new game so i just watched my anime i think
wed - sims 3 starts
thurs - jowells friends came over for wow raid.. then after we just hung out and talke.d. till late uhgggg so sleep deprived at this point
fri - prob more sims
sat - sims, then i actually got out and went to hang out with sarah
sun - sims/tv/wow - i finally made enough money to move my sims to a nice big house.. but while i was moving them the program froze ): i lost in game time about a week... i can get it back fast but still frustrating, they gotta make more money again before i can move them to nicer house

ok week update:
really... i don't think there's been anything to update about haha... all last week just played WoW and watched the office... i am now on the most current season of "the office"!! not on the current episode yet but will be very soon~ ya that's like all i did over the weekend... watched almost 2 full seasons hahahahhaha i did it marathon style... even tho it's not that type of series..
yesterday i had class.. it was actually a good one! well the last half.. the first half i think i actually almost fell asleep.. and thats hard to do for me.. but i guess i was tired and dehydrated... and prob starving.. but the last half of class our prof invited 2 guest speakers.. and this time they were cool! they did a little skit for us..they performed the "informed consent" process.. where they get consent from the patient or the patients parents these two speakers came from childrens hospital "high-five tsan!" haha . but ya they were really entertaining (showed us the not so good ways of consenting)... i learned a lot and it was fun! another interesting thing is i'm learning that my industry is made out of so many dif types of people... of all different backgrounds.. we asked what the speakers did and studied.. the first one said she is a software engineer.. but her child has been in the hospital with a terminal illness for the last few years... so she switched her profession to helping bridge the families who participate in research studies to the researchers/scientists, by translating and just making sure the families are really really informed correctly about what they are volunteering to do. the other speaker had an undergraduate degree in theater, and then a masters in ethical something... :P think it had to do with ethics and international stuff...
also recently a co-worker had talked to me saying how life isn't all about money, because she used to make lots of money being an account manager for a software company, but after time she was just so sick of it, she felt her job had no real meaning.. because one day someone said to her "it's not that big of a deal no one will die because of it" .. and it hit her... why should she stress out so much and work so hard with people she doesn't like for something that did'nt matter to her. so she just quit and started doing admin work at biotech , and while at our current place someone talked to her about becoming a nurse and ever since then she's been in nursing school (she graduates this december if she passes). but it's pretty amazing.. giving up the money to be a part time temp admin and going back to school~
don't get me wrong biotech does pay alot obviously~ but i'm also learning that the majority of the people i work with.. actually really care about what they do... not just for the money... i'm not in the business/sales/whatever else department lol not sure how they feel there :P
oh and i almost forgot we're looking to hire a temp and i'm in the interview process... and i've learned.. both sides of the interview process sucks lol, even tho i'm no the one being interviewed... it still sucks, thinking of questions... listening to their answers... judging them.. it sucks haha. but it's good to at least have some say to who will be joining your team

wed - went shopping after work, bought a hoodie from aeropostale and boots from papaya
thurs - went to an italian restaurant at crossroads "firenze" or something like that... food was pretty good.. but.. tooo expensive imo. i should have tried the risotto.. doh...
fri - chilled and relaxed i think.. just watched tv... i feel like it was a short night though... did i do anything? mmmm
sat - watched tv... don't think i did much during the day... went to larrys party at night, it was fun lotsa people i didn't know, pictures will be on facebook soon. i was really happy with my costume (:
sun - went out to lunch with susan at thai ginger, then i'm pretty sure i just did nothing the rest of the day, i slept "early" thank you day light savings.
today is gonna be a long day though.. uhggggg i usually don't get home till 10:30pm cause of class... sigh... and now its similar to 11:30pm.. ZZZZZZ damn! for half of class today we're supposed to split into groups and we'll be ethic boards.. discussing different cases and seeing whether or not we'd approve the study or what changes we would make to the study~ i just read the 8 dif cases..~ tough calls (it's nothing really obvious, i thought i'd be able to see obvoius wrong things with the studies but... not really.. i see a few things that "could" be unethical but man with medicine it's so hard to tell, the benefits/harms O_O and if part of the study is unethical is there any other way to do it??? i can't think of anything) ... guess we'll see what happens in class.

we went to the target at northgate (bought my green tank and shorts)... then to the mall to eat and shop, then there is a costume store near northgate too i bought my mask and green hair spray there. yay i'm excited! she's one of my fav chars ever! haha then I just hung out at sarah's place
sat - went to southcenter mall with jowell, finally got my anniversary present! i got a tempurpedic pillow (the comfort pillow) ... slept on it the first time last night... sooooo night.. and i slept really well.. i wonder if its the pillow lol i'll report back on it when i've used it more. so while shopping in sears they announced they were giving away free gifts so we rush to get our free gift.. but it was really crappy infomercial that we had to stay and listen thru and we got basically nothing grrrr, also at the mall a kids store was selling cotton candy for only 50 cents! num num. then we went to bahama breeze for dinner. went home and watched lots of "the office season 2"
sun - finished the office season 2... hahaha uhmm what else did I do.. play WoW... i can't recall if i did anything... must have watched a lot of the office.. lol on to season 3!
mon - work, school... uhg class was horrible... a guest speaker (biostatistician)came to talk to us... for 3 hours O_O. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ya... the memories of the stat classes of the past... and more... haha well just sorta shoved into 3 hours. i think the main stuff was stats is important to clinical trials, treat your statitians well there is no replacement for them, even tho there are cool sites that can do your calcs for u .. the statitian (i can't even spell it) and doctors add the human element, experience, and understand the complexity of the study design. on the math side, it was null hypothesis, reject accept, alpha, beta, sample population size stuff. man it was hard to pay attention lol
HOLIDAYS! - i was thinking of doing a white elephant of some sort for xmas? because i really don't know who is back and when... but if a white elephant seems like a waste... i dunno what do you guys wanna do?

10:33 am - oops! forgot to update!
sorry! been busy O_O and i guess i forgot to update.
where did i leave off? well i'll start with last weekend.
friday - celebrated anniversary with jowell.. the weathers been bad so we didn't do salish lodge and snoqualmie falls... we went to this japanese restaurans (warabi) on aurora... i wanted the shabu shabu hot pot there but they had tooken the good meat off the menu ): so sad.. so we just did sukiyaki... ): toooo salty.. oh well, no more going back there.. it was good when they had to good meat!
sat - went to bell square with jowell to look for my anniversary gift.. i had totally forgotten there is no more brookstone there ): cause i wanted to get one of those nice pillows... so i ended up not getting anything yet ): . then i went to hang out with sarah, then later jowell picked me up and we went to oasis for slush and chicken.. yum.
sun - went to seahawks game with jowell... seahawks got massacred.. sad... and not only that.. my garlic fries didn't have enough garlic on them ): i was very upset... everybody else got garlic cept for me! errg.
mon - work.. oh and i went to uwajimaya to stock up on ramen and crackers to store at work.. then school... haha i had no idea the health sciences building locked down at 7pm! our prof gives us a break usually around 7:30pm.. so i went to the health sciences library to go on the comp for a bit.. then i was locked outta my class building!! erg! and i left everything in the classroom too.. my backpack which had my wallet phone keys.. etc.. so i had to call the UW non emergency police number.. then wait for the policeman to pick me up and let me back into my building O_O soooo embarrasing.. and i missed an hour of lecture sigh.
ok! halloween is coming up! if i work on a costume i'll keep you all updated!

11:42 am - weekend report~
hello, first off.. i'm addicted to "cafe world" on facebook... yes i am.. addicted... i guess i had a "busy" weekend... lol here go's~
Friday - we celebrated jowells bday early this year because marie was home, we went to blue ginger~ korean bbq yum yum, except service was insanely slow.. our waitress just disappeared into a black hole! we had to track down other people to help us >< . well it was crazy busy at the restaurant and i think our waitress had tables in the back of the restaurant while we were in the front of the restaurant... still bad layout then. jowell got this super nice logitech headset from marie&martin. then we went to dairy queen... man i was so full by then.. but i got the pumpkin blizzard anyways.. it was pretty good.. but halfway thru i just couldn't eat anymore O_O. well i could but i know it's not good for me haha.
saturday - we had a lan party at jowells house... larry,richard,and raineer came over (larry brought his laptop, richard and raineer brought their desktops...)... we did 5 vs. 5 arena's all night... (arena's is where you get a group of people and fight another group of people), so it was us 5 versus whatever groups matched up with us. we started around 4pm.... took a break at 11:30 pm.. (cause larry went bowling O_O, wtf!) so while larry was out with his OTHER FRIENDS, the rest of us just hung out... and grabbed food at jack in the box. then we called and bugged larry to get his ass back so he came back to jowells around 2am. and we played again until 4am. then we went home... and slept.. raineer apparently kept playing WoW at Jowells until 7:30 am... (he just slept over)
sunday - raineer was at Jowells the whole day still playing.. lol O_O insane boy! uhhh well i woke up late.. and took my time.. i just chilled at home watching my anime.. eating... went to jowells later... played WoW / watched tv. I think raineer left around 9:30pm haha.
monday - work.. school.. so tired... 3 hour lecture UHGG i was trying hard to stay awake... and i didn't eat much that day either.. no breakfast.. and for lunch i had icecream and cake ( we were celebrating something at work), and a co-worker had leftover dimsum that i mooched, then for dinner i had a bag of jalapeno cheetos. my throat is starting to hurt a little.. i hope i'm not getting sick... hopefully it was just me being malnurished and weak...
i hope everyone had a good weekend!

i'm thinking of going to salish lodge for our 5th year anniversary, mel - do you suggest a massage or a body scrub/wrap?
I'm thinking of doing a brunch, then hike down to the falls, and then get some sort of treatment, i can't decide what though (idea stolen from marie, she went today, i think they are just doing brunch though no treatments, and then i was like man i've still never seen the falls!, and i figured it be funner then just another dinner out)
i don't know what i want as a present... i was thinking a nice therapeutic pillow (but theyr'e like $100!), or boots... i need new high healed boots, my only pair of boots is like 6 years old... i bought it in new york back in the days~
i think at this rate i'm just gonna end up getting some sort of treatment at the lodge... so... massage or body scrub/wrap... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

hello hello i hope everybody had a good weekend (: . My weekend was great~ uhmmm startin with steak!
Fri - john howies steak... i ordered the american wagyu ribeye... YUMM i liked it better then the MET, i think it's about the same price too. but the japanese wagyu ribeye (which jowell ordered), was SOOO expensive.. 120$ for 8 measly ounces, i thought it was delicious! overpriced but delicious! jowell thought it was too buttered down.. way too buttery for him... if it's true that all that softness and meltyness was butter.. then that's not good... but we arent sure... it was prob butter if jowell felt overbuttered... but me... i love butter.. so i couldn't tell.. hahaha. Marie has some news to share~ i dunno if she's shared it yet. I'll wait a bit~
Sat - I bought The Beatles Rockband for Jowell for our anniversary. moohaha fun... the songs so far are much easier then Rockband 1. but fun songs.. beatles are fun to sing to~
had some weird dreams over the weekend.. i shared one dream on a comment to tsans entry... can't remember the other dreams that well~ but i'll try to share more dreams here (: ohhhh ok i know one i want to share.
Dream: I was at an expensive restaurant, with my family, jowell and some friends, at the end of the dinner me and my dad play rock-paper-scissors, i lost the game so I had to pay for the meal. the bill was 800$, and apparently i had 1000$ in cash in my wallet.. and i paid with that...
the day after my dream is the day we went to john howies steak, jowell and marie were gonna share the bill... but the bill went to their dad.. and i was sitting right next to their dad...i realized a bit late but when i realized i grabbed the bill and handed it to jowell.. but then their dad just gave his credit card to the waitress and the waitress was like "he was first to give me his credit card" ... so i lose~
OMG ok after all my blabbing i forgot to say i started my one class last night... clinical trials something... anyways it's in the T wing at the health sciences center.. haha oh the memories... it almost all brings tears to my eyes.. haha i walked past the physics building... and i was like "OMG the stress" lol .. the building across from the architech building have been torn down!! it's so weird you can see straight past it. class was fun.. i was just tired.. work from 9-5 and then class from 6-9 just is blah.. but its only one day a week so i'll be good~ . very very very diverse class.. lots are people already working in the field... lots don't wanna work in research lab anymore and are looking to switch fields... foreign people... grad students, pharmacists, blah blah blah just a huge variety. first day and the teacher packed the 3 hours in full of lecturing.. man... i was gonna die.. haha but good thing it was sorta interesting.. went thru the history of the FDA, past "mistakes" (because nothing was regulated) no one cared until lots of people died, and then she started teaching about clinical trials, and it was cool cause i've already experienced a lot she was talking about~ i was like "YAAA that's what happened to us" but gotta be careful what i say cause of confidentiality and what not.
